MyReports is the replacement for Hyperion. MyReports, is a business intelligence (BI) platform that delivers rich, consumable, interactive information to the widest range of managers, analysts, faculty, and staff. MyReports offers a do-it-yourself reporting tool. Everyone from end users to power users, who want access to raw data, can easily create their own reports and analyses. MyReports users don't need intensive training and it's easy for developers to create and maintain custom reports. What's more, every bit of content is shareable and reusable.

How do I get access to MyReports?

MyReports (like Hyperion)is based on BAR security roles. You may need to request a new BAR role for some of the newer reports, or your existing roles may be carried over to MyReports. Please refer to Support for more information. Finance users, please refer to FastInfo Answer 7161 for more information.

How do I log on to MyReports?

Access MyReports through the MyUNM portal within the UNM Business Applications Channel with the other reporting tools. MyReports is browser based, so you will not need to install additional software to access MyReports. Also refer to Finance FastInfo Answer 6893

Will a Juniper VPN connection be required to access MyReports?

Not if you access it from any UNM network. Remote access from non-UNM networks and unsecured connections will require Juniper VPN, however. For more information see Fastinfo answer 2090.

Is training available for MyReports?

While most MyReports users do not require intensive training, some training is actually required, Finance for example. There are a number of training resources available including user forums. For more information see the Training page, also refer to the Finance FastInfo Answer 6893.

Will I still have access to Hyperion Reports?

Hyperion reports will be phased out beginning in July 2013 and Hyperion will be permanently removed from the IT infrastructure on March 31, 2014. Many reports will run parallel in both systems during this interim period, but you should rewrite all of your reports in MyReports as soon as possible. For assistance, see Support and Training pages, and Finance FastInfo Answer 6892.
